Please Be Aware

Anyone wishing to discuss matters at a town board meeting MUST submit a request to be added to the agenda by 12 PM noon, the Thursday before the meeting. You can make a request by calling the town hall at 651-462-2812 or emailing info@linwoodtownship.org.  Any requests made AFTER 12pm on that Thursday, will be added to the following meeting. Meetings are held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 6pm. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.



Burning permits are regulated by the MN Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and are issued by Fire Wardens within the township. The Linwood Twp. Fire Department does not issue permits. For information on the status as to whether a permit is required please visit the DNR website or contact a local Fire Warden listed on the Fire Dept. page

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing shall be held before the Linwood Township Planning and Zoning Commission on Tuesday March 19, 2024 at 7:00 PM at Linwood Township Town Hall, regarding the following matter: 7100 Fawn Lake Dr Rezone - To consider an application by Joseph Dolphy, Jr. for a proposed rezoning of 7100 Fawn Lake Dr NE (PID 28-34-22-42-0002) from Business (B) to Single-Family Residential (R-1). This will be contingent upon the approval of a concurrent administrative subdivision to separate the property’s existing commercial and residential uses. As such both written and oral comments will be heard at the Planning Commission meeting.
